Abstract
|
|
|
Neoplastic involvement of the spleen, whether primary or secondary, is rare. Splenic metastases are usually found in patients with widespread malignancy and apparently appear late in the course of the disease.
We experienced a case of metastatic adenocarcinoma of the spleen in 54-year-old female patient. The report case illustrates clinical history, gross and microscopical findings and brief review of literature.
